Hi, I have itching and irritation in my groin area for around 3-4 months now. By the lookbof itz it looks like jock itch, but it should not have lasted foe this long. The skin in groin area has become dry and patchy and a ring difderentuatws the affected part with non affected skin. The itching is quite intense and as a result I have scratched my skin leading to 2-3 small blisters. Here are the things that I have tried: 1) tried applying luliderm for 2 weeks with no result. 2) consulted a doctor who said it could be scabies, hence took the ivermectin for 2 days now and have been applying permethrin in night for 2 days. I doubt it would be scabies otherwise my sife would have been affected as well and by the look of it as well, it doesn't look like scabies. I looking for a permanent resolution to this problem. Please help.
